But this railway station is vecant now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an abandoned rail station in Krishnanagar Nabadwip Dham section. Earlier, train service was operational on narrow gauge line from Krishnanagar to Nabadwip Ghat (Swarupganj). Later it was decided to convert the line from narrow gauge to broad gauge and extend the route to Nabadwip Dham. But due to land issues, the entire project has been shut down indefinitely. Many locals wants this railway section to be reopened as it is the easiest way to reach Mayapur or Nabadwip Dham from Krishnanagar.
