β β β β β Pocket friendly place with great taste and service.
Authentic amritsari taste. After a long time had such a great punjabi cousin with dhabewala tatse and restaurant wala feel.

β β β β β Visited amritsari zaika.
Hoping I would have a great North Indian food.
But got total disappointment.
Visited here for lunch on Sunday, I had thought there would be very rush being Sunday, but only I was dining there and all waiters were looking at each other with mere hope of getting more customers.
They gave me menus on the table. Yes, Menus and both the menus having same items had different rates. So being surprised thought to check same on Swiggy and zomato, I found better rates there than on restaurant. Moreover there were offers on top of it. Felt cheated, still thought to give a try.
So, ordered half murgh musallam and Rogani naan. After some 25 mins (the time they took was very long but I did not mind, taken positively that they must be freshly preparing it and not serving stale) food arrived. Then more surprises came. Naan was not at all naan it was simple roti with few butter on it. (check image) Also they served chicken masala. Asked about both the things they told me naan is same here and murgh musallam is famous dish of this restaurant. Very much disappointed as they don't even know what is musallam.
The taste was okay, as chicken was stale, definitely last night leftover. And also quantity was very less. Two butter rotis were enough to complete murgh musallam. I enquired manager cum owner about musallam, he was also agreed that musallam is different than they serve over there. But he gave me reason that chef knows this method only.
After finishing roti and dish, owner asked me what to bring now, I folded hands before him and asked for bill.
Again to my surprise, they levied 13% service charge on top of CGST and SGST. When I refused to pay 13% service charge citing its optional. They said that this is "sitting charge". Yup, you have heard it right. We're they hoping that customers would come and have food in standing position?
After paying around 500 rupees and still half emptied stomach, had to step out of the restaurant to never go back.
Nothing was great to rate them any higher

β β β β β The food taste is really good. I liked it. Especially their choole bhature and different types of kulchas. They also have thali based systems, so one can find a complete meal over here. Also, if you are a magic pin user you can have great discounts as well.

β β β β β Its nice place if you love punjabi food. Just beside warje, Opposite to Shell Fuel station. All the food items are made in punjabi style. Both veg and non veg food is available and thali combinations are available with both veg and non veg variations. Lots of items are listed with punjabi names. Gonna try Butter chicken next time.

β β β β β Don't go by the zaika . From the taste of their dishes, it seems that this restaurant does not know the real zaika of Punjab. Although, I appreciate their efforts to try and achieve the same in Pune.
Had 2 ordering experience with them via Swiggy.
1. Tawa Chaap: Chaap is undercooked with lots of onion and capsicum floating around. Ideally it should be a semi paste gravy. The worst part of it is the added sweetness and lack of spices and no chutney was served along.
2. Aloo Kulcha: Overall rightly cooked. But again it is sweet and chutney missing here too.
3. Pander Bhatura Amritsari: Bhatura was good except for the expectation of paneer stuffing. Instead paneer cubes were added in the chole. Green Chutney was provided but it was watery. Chole were cooked perfectly but sweetness was high of note which avoided can make it much much better in taste.
