β β β β β It's a typical mess but will get all kerala dishes here.
I was here for dinner and had ordered appam and motta(egg) curry. The appams weren't fresh but the egg curry was quite tasty. Maybe appams won't be the right choice of food to order for dinner out here.
Kappa biriyani is very much good here.

β β β β β The food was just amazing. They have done a great job in delivering authentic Kerala cuisine along with an essence of their own creativity and combinations. Their kizhi porotta and combination of chicken roast and appam is soo delicious.They even provide a very decent mess service on a monthly basis. The owners and staff were very friendly and the service was wonderful.??

β β β β β We ordered Kappa Biriyani, Pepper Prawns and Chicken Biriyani.
Kappa Biriyani - was pretty stale as it gave a smell as soon as it got to the table
Pepper prawns - the masala was burnt and the prawns were over cooked and tasted like rubber
Chicken Biriyani - tasted like a normal biriyani except the fact that they didn't add any salt in the rice or in the masala.
We spent a lot of money for tasting few of the most disappointing dishes today. Highly disappointed cuz of the money that went waste on food today.
Kindly review the negatives in a bright way and try to improve the quality of service and food you provide for better comments and ratings!

β β β β β Today, I came here for breakfast. It's a typical Kerala mess serving Kerala cuisine. The location is on the main road in Tavarekere and is kept clean.
A family runs the mess mainly a mother and a daughter.
Breakfast Menu:
Dosa, Idly, Puttu and Appam.
Sidedishes:
Kurma Curry, Egg Roast mainly.
I asked for Appam as it's been a while since I had one. They informed me that the Appam was unavailable, therefore I placed an order for Puttu. Within a few minutes of placing the order, a couple of people came in and were served Appams and Egg Roast. I inquired at the time of payment whether appams were available, and was simply told that they were not. She stated that Appams had just arrived. I was dissatisfied with their service because I was visiting for the first time and intended to return frequently. It appears as though they are extending special treatment to their frequent customers by supplying them with a variety of cuisines. Additionally, they did not offer a drink of water.
I ordered Puttu, Kadala curry and coffee. Altogether the total amount came was 80. The ordered dishes were adequate in terms of taste. The food was served in a banana leaf placed on the steel plate. There was a minor delay in delivering the puttu to my table. UPI payment is also accepted.
I believe it's a good option here to have Kerala-style food, considering mess-style establishments are scarce in this area.
