★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only run by Very Good Doctors Brand value, healthcare services are good but administration is very slow,a group of associates are there to help but due to lack of communication in between various departments ,unnecessary killings times,need to be more productive and professional..
My father go through cateract surgery on Jan 2019 and oct 2021 from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amulya Jyoti Eye Foundation at Monoharpukur Road near Lancedown Road is a small but well equipped day care eye centre. There are a few reputed eye surgeons and renowned surgeon Dr. Arup Chakraborty is one of them. It starts from 8am and besides other surgeries, mainly cataract surgery is done using the latest techniques. There is no separate car parking space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly unprofessional.. 3 Hrs waiting time.. Doctor and team should respect the time of others. Also after waiting for 3 hrs.. doctor is not even talking to patient properly and just completed the conversation in not even 2 Mins. Sir.. We are paying you Rs. 600 from our hard earned salary.. At least listen to patient and give minimum 5 Mins to your patient.. At least check the eye properly.. I am really upset with you Dr. Biswas. You can't waste our time & money like that..- Also receptionist don't even bother of suffocation in the waiting room.. What you guys are doing there.. Only making money without proper service ? There are many other Doctors and Centers in Kolkata buddy. Sheer disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had read some reviews regarding AJEF, Kolkata. Most of those reviews stated that the staff are inefficient. I had a different experience.
I had my cataract operation done by Dr. Sugata Paul at AJEF on 04.03.2022. He is a doctor par excellence and his behaviour towards patients is exemplary.
The facilities offered by AJEF is of standard quality.
The staff members are polite and courteous. Yes, the entire process is a bit time consuming because one has to wait after being given eye drops for better examination. The staff are under constant pressure because there is a huge inflow of patients with varied needs. So, it would be unfair to call them inefficient.
I have already recommended the place to my friends and relatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for Cataract work up for my mother. We did not know the procedure. We wanted to get work up done for left eye. For 1 eye the cost is 1610/- and for 2 eyes it is 2590/-. However we didn't know that doing it for both eyes means next time I won't have to pay for the second eye. That information was not given at the Payment desk. The technician said that while checkup...and then we decided to get the work up for both eyes. HOWEVER this time he said I will have to pay extra 1610 /- again because he will not change the bill

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Reception and patient managemis absolutely disgusting. Takes an average of 1 hour waiting as the receptionists are not able to to manage patients. Lot of areas of friction: waiting time is generally more than 1 hour. Card machines don’t work properly. You will not find any suggestion box.
