Though Bishnupur is the origin and birthplace of Terracotta, this temple is also a beautiful presentation of terracotta. Situated beside a beautiful and iconic temple, it is making its presence felt by its beautiful sculpture.

A beautiful Ratna Type Teracota temple. This should also be maintained betterly, found the temple surrounded by jungle. Couldn't go near to the temple as the temples are closed during this lockdown time. Will definitely come back later to have a closer view and takr a look at those delicate teracota sculptures.

Beautiful tera cotta temple. This temple will remind you of temples in Bishnupur. Main deity is Lord Visnhu. Terra-cotta arts are still visible on walls of this temple.

The temple named Ananta Basudeba temple is located beside the main Hangsheswari Temple complex. Built-in 1679, the Ananta Vasudeva Temple is an old terracotta temple dedicated to Ananta Basudev, a form of Lord Vishnu. It is topped by an octagonal spire. The facade of the temple is covered with intricately carved terracotta tiles showing stories from the epics, the life of Krishna as well as scenes from then-contemporary life, including that of royal courts, hunting, boat journeys, etc. Near to this temple, there is a Swanbhaba Kali temple built by Raja Nrisingha Deb Dutta Mahasay in 1788.

Ananta Basudeba temple is a temple of Lord Krishna in the Hangseshwari temple complex in Banshberia, in the Hooghly District in the Indian state of West Bengal. Built by Raja Rameswar Datta in 1679, this temple is noted for the exquisite terra cotta works on its walls. It is built in the traditional eka-ratna style, with curved cornices. The tower on top of the temple is octagonal. The terracota works depict stories from the great Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata, as well as from lilas of Krishna. Route Come at Banshberia station then ask any one for Hangseswari mandir it’s a walking 10 minutes distance from station to Hangseswari mandir.

Beautiful mandir beside the hangseshwari mandir. It's a shiva temple. The architecture resembles terracotta architecture. The designs, bricks are all same. Atmosphere is so serene.

It is a small temple dedicated to Vishnu. It has very unique terracotta architecture with stories sculpted of Ramayana and Mahabharata on it. This temple was older than the hanseshwari temple.
