★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it is a very nice place..it is situated in the town bansberia under bansberia municipality,hoogly district..a clean and tidy place..due to lockdown they restricted the visitors..and only who want to go for puja..they are only allowing them..they are maintaining covid safety measure very nicely..overall it is a very good place..if you want to spend some holy time..or want to click good photos..you should visit this place❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mandir premise is clean and well maintained. The whole premise is under CCTV surveillance.
The puja timings for the evening are from 4 PM to 7 PM.
For the pandemic, the mandir authorities are not allowing anyone without a mask. There are timely announcements being made for the queue maintenance.
The scenic beauty of the mandir and the surrounding area is great.the walls are engraved with various deities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hangseswari temple is a ratna temple located in the town of Bansberia at Hooghly district, West Bengal,India. It is known for its unique architecture with 13 minars or Ratnas resembling sort of Disneyland . A good place to visit during Winters especially during Christmas Eve that's when the place remains crowded and lively than other times of the year .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sudden plan to visit Hangseshwari temple was so worth it!
How I went- Got on a magic van from Kalyani station, and asked the driver to drop me near Hangseshwari. He dropped me at a stoppage. Afterwards, I had to walk for some 5-10min to reach the temple.
Hangseshwari temple was built by raja Nrisimhadeb Roy Mahasay, after his mother Hangseshwari Devi. The diety is maa Kali.
The architecture is very mesmerizing. It has touches of so many styles of architecture. I was so impressed seeing it. There is an Ananta Basudev temple nearby.
Thr atmosphere is very serene. The rajbari and the remains of the rajbari entry gate is just nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. The lady shopkeeper across the temple is very well mannered and gentle. Pls support her by buying some stuff or by parking in her house.
Coming back to the temple, nice architecture. Has a spiritual feel to it. Take your time and roam around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a type of kali temple but this deity was throned with a lotus flower. The sculpture of the deity is made of wood. It is established in the early 19 the century by the local king nrisingha deb toy. It has 13 miners with unique lotus bud. Beside that also a Vishnu terracotta temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit to the temple proved out to be worthy. It has a lot of history and more of scenic beauty. The temple is quite old and sort of not maintained but you'll find it attractive if you are into history.
