It is costly during weekend.(because of tourists of course) On week days you can bargain for half the demanded price. Worth buying from here for Mumbai, Pune tourists as fish stays fresh till they reach back home.

Visit early to get fresh picks. Roam around get to know and you will find many varieties of fish try to find prices from different fishmongers in the market find fresh and good deal and then make purchase.

Its like they have developed this sixth sense and they sell it on higher rate. Parking is pain in the arse. Especially localities who'll Park their car, bike in the middle for others to figure out how to go in or get out. It's good market but can be made better one.

Fish stays fresh inside for 6-7 hours. It’s normal that they insist you to buy fish but part of their job. Be polite and park your vehicle responsibly!

All types of sea food is available though i found the rates to be much higher than what it is in Gujarat. Overall a worth place to visit especially if you are a seafood lover. And yes since uts located right near the beach the fishes are very fresh!
