Aranyak Resort - Ghatshila

Nice place to eat. We went for a day trip at Ghatshila. We visited this resort for having lunch and take rest. We booked a room for resting purpose. Their food was very tasty and pocket friendly

Really wonderful. I feel except going to Burudi lake, which is just near by, don't go anywhere and just relax in the resort. They have a nice big lawn full of flowers, ponds and trees, which is a add on in winter season. You can go to near by mountains which is just 5 mins walk from resort. Staffs are too friendly and they are always there for your service. Food is homely and tasty. Bichitra is the gate keeper of tent houses. His one hand is paralyzed and he has 3 daughters to feed. He earns 4k and the same is expense for his medicines per month. His wife works in bricks kiln and earns 900 per week. Whatever be the amount ,if you can help him, that will be wonderful.

A beautiful resort with a great view of mountain. Decoration is eye catching. I had a delicious lunch over there. Bit costly but worthy. You can stay there in tent also.

Nice place for a day out far from the hustle of the city life. The most interesting feature of the resort was the Air conditioned tents for night stay. We avoided staying due to pandemic situation. But definitely willing to visit again for a night stay when situation returns to normal. I'm sure it would be wonderful. The food is okay. There is a huge parking area. The condition of a part of the road was quite poor when you enter the village leaving the highway. When you are visiting from Jamshedpur, take the left service road immediately before the one shown in the navigation. There is no left turn available in the map which is displayed wrongly in the navigation. P.S. I have edited the Google map and now correct direction is suggested by Google map at least for me. Others need to confirm.

I went there on 1st Jan 2022. The resort at first glance is scenic but utterly dirty. You can’t enter the washroom or even wash your hands in the washbasin. My family and I went for their buffet lunch. This was the most disappointing. The fish was cold as if it had been taken out of the freezer and not even heated. There was soda in the food items and we all felt so uneasy on our drive back home. They do not have anyone to assist you with parking and later they behaved so rudely when they asked us to move our vehicle. The owner himself is a very rude person. Utterly mismanaged and unhygienic place with no sense of customer service or deceny to behave with customers. And please don’t think it’s a resort. It’s just a park with a few chairs and tables. Utterly disappointed! We have been to multiple resorts not only in Jharkhand but nationally and internationally too. This place by far has been the most disappointing. I was specially disappointed as this was one new year I was spending with my family after many years and I have never seen such pathetic behavior from any hotel/resort staff. Of course I didn’t expect them to give me 5 star treatment coz they are not in that category but I didn’t expect them to be this pathetic as well. Your reply proves my point exactly! The way you behave with your customers is just beyond anything I have experienced in India or any other country. I also noticed you have bashed every customer who has given you a negative review. We politely asked your server why is the fish so cold.could you please exchange it or heat it up. He said he will and never came back. You do not have any valet or assisted parking. Then you literally shout at customers later on for parking not per your convenience. You washrooms are beyond me to even talk about. Just a few specific pointers for the public to know. I can’t fathom someone running a business by literally bashing any customer who has not shared a positive feedback.No wonder the service is so poor!

Wonderfully managed in the middle of nowhere along with the birds and the bees. There’s hot water available and there’s ac in the tent. The garden view from the tent is wonderful and so is the hospitality. The staff was responsive even late at night when the surrounding village has gone to sleep for long. Perfect for bikers and travellers - however partying at night at this serene location does tend to drown out the rustic and natural charm of this place. The restaurant on the other side of the road has cement houses if you’re not a tent person and they have ample parking space. There are farm lands nearby and you can occasionally see a peacock walking around. The road isn’t too good but it makes up for the wonderful location.

Really enjoyed staying there. Very calm and quiet place. If anyone looking to go somewhere calm and quiet place then this is the place one should stay especially at tent. Behavior of the staffs are really good. Always there if you need anything. Especially the owners asks everyone during the lunch hours that is anything required or not. Very humble and down to earth person. Food is tasty and fresh. We took packaged trip so it came up-to Rs. 2050/head per day. Would love to visit anytime.

It is a good place located in a remote location. It is stretched over a large area with gardens, parking, accommodation and food and beverage service. The room prices are a bit high keeping in mind the location. The behavior of the owner and staff both are very good. It has a nice ambience where one can spend quality time with their family. There were no disturbances as such. One must visit once and feel the experience. Also the rooms are in forms of tent which is a different experience at this location. One must try it absolutely
