★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing does not even good enough to describe my experience. I ordered a red ruffle saree for my engagement from Arpita Mehta Studio. The saree was delivered crumpled and just thrown into a bag inspite of being told that it would be given on a coat hanger. There are several gaps in terms of the print not being even all over the saree. Within the cancan there are random piece of scrap stuck. Overall poor garment finish and quality. The saree is also running colour. What's worse is their lack of customer service. They didn't even care to respond to my messages. On the day of my engagement, half way through the ceremony the blouse strap snapped! The Saree is also running colour. This has by far been the worst designer experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at the store are extremely rude and dismissive. They are severely lacking in decency and courteousness. They behave as though they are obliging the customer by letting them shop at the store. It's a pity because after spending a considerable amount of money, and buying clothes that you love, you leave the store feeling humiliated. I wish Arpita Mehta would personally look into the kind of staff she employs at her stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I clearly remember how excited I was upon receiving my first ever designer garment almost a decade ago by the designer at her boutique in Sheetal apartments. I was thrilled and excited to visit the store because Arpita Mehta and her mirror work motif have always had a personal sentimental value, sadly I have to agree with comments made by previous user on customer service. It seems as it if staff and the store in general only cater to celebrities and influencers and consider a common person invaluable. The customer service was dismissive, rude and disrespectful.
I guess that’s the way the ball rolls got some once the brand has “made it”. Will still always be an admirer of her work, but don’t think I will want to or suggest anyone I know to shop here. Unless you like being humiliated for the sake of a one time wear designer piece.
