★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is ensconced in a nice quiet locality in Indiranagar. The google map will take you right there. The picket fences invited me right in. the store had simple things like a notebook to big lamp shades, bureaus and chests. I even found covers for IPads. But each of them crafted individually. The store had not only stationeries, jewelry, furniture but clothes too… organic colors and woven fabric. Lovely stuff. I picked up a tapestry which I thought I could hang in my living room. The store would have been a house earlier. So you can just wander around the house. One of the rooms is a book store. Nice indian stories, nicely illustrated ones. You could read them, sitting outside. There is a nice place to lounge. I think you would find stuff for your home but great for corporate gifts. I give my 'thumbs up' twice to Art Etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Art Etc is my favourite go-to place for gifts for valued friends (not everyone !), for clients who live abroad and want to experience Indian culture via textiles and artefacts. And sometimes just for me : the eclectic mix of lovely things you can buy here makes it perfect to stop by, spend time with the owners, immerse yourself in the artisans and the art. Etc etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the heart of Indira Nagar is this elegantly done up store which houses some of the most exquisite hand crafted selection of products you could ever lay your eyes on. From books to beauty products, lamps to linen, perfumes to pottery and cushions to curious, it’s all here. As you enter the store the burst of colour and culture draws you in added with the energy and passion of the owners of the store. It is heart warming to know that they don’t just stock up from a wholesaler but actually travel the country to identify age old crafts and artisans and work with them closely to bring back this collection to urbanites. Great way to reroute traditional Indian art into every household. Once here, you cannot stay away!
