★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good but the prices are a bit high. And even that is exclusive GST. I have like had sweets from all renowned shops in Kolkata and to my knowledge no one charges GST extra. That's included in the price itself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though I had almost all of their varieties but I only have this picture ?. Anyway I simply love their sweets. I can recommend it whole heartedly. Just in this particular shop ( prince anwarsha road) stuff behaviour is not satisfactory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nolen Gur Rasgulla: That first bite take you back a legacy. You know why this place is so well renowned which embarks an assurance of Quality!
Baked Moa: I wanted to try something new buy this was more or less similar to Baked Rasgulla. Creamy and perfect✨
Mishti Doi: The thing with their Mishti Doi is, it's more healthy that most sweet shops around Kolkata. They don't add extra emulsions to make it creamy (although that causes it to lose its density) but overall an amazing treat❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went at their restocking time and the trays of sweets were being carried in. Quite a sight. So though the shelves were empty, there was so much to pick from New deliveries. Amazing collection of sweets

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand that this place holds a special place in Kolkata but as a visitor I didn’t find anything to appreciate here. The first thought that I had that they’re probably crumbling down while carrying their reputation. Staff was least interested, sweets aren’t marked, one has to ask which is what. The only marking in place that you can see is at the billing counter PRICE + 5% GST. I bought some assorted sweets and a pack of tinned rasgulla. Despite me telling them that I’ve to travel, they jam packed the sweets in one box and the rasgulla tin was leaking. I had to later seal it with a duct tape.
All in all, I would give this place a miss and I’m sure Kolkata has far far better sweet shops than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought gajar halwa from the store today with great expectation but there was a smoky smell in the halwa despite of all the other ingredients were present…it must have caught some smoky flavour while preparing it ..not expected to sell such food from such reputed store…was very disheartening while having it as dessert

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had their baked rosogolla before and that tasted heavenly but in the time of bijoya dashami I bought some sandesh, they tasted very average. If they charge you extra money than any other local sweet shop,you would obviously expect something more!
