★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's interesting that I followed the google map to this place. Walked up to the place. Climbed stairs that led to the unguarded ATM to read a screen that said This ATM is temporarily out of service and I muttered under my breath bloody govt sector bank just posted the biggest loss of its lifetime and no wonder the ATM is down. But what was sweet was that that there was a regular A4 print out that stated the phone number and said give a missed call for balance enquiry. Balance enquiry was the purpose of my visit. Dialled the number and got the balance. It's kind of an unbelievably good service that I got what I had gone for despite the ATM being down. I work for a Pvt sector bank and used to take pride in the uptime of the ATM but yes there are down times too. But our ATMs do not carry a notice for missed call alerts despite it being available. I thank the good martian on earth who initiated the printout to be pasted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bank of india has very bad customer handling culture. I have been here for two three occasions. Loan department lady does not have sense of talking. They will be humble until you have taken loan. Once you are in the loop they will try to sell insurance and gold biscuits etc etc which is not required. And they will force you to execute on of those.
