★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No, this is not an age-old landmark, actually it's a newer one...but has the potential to be a great one. Burdwan Clock Tower and Tower Garden is an initiative of Burdwan Development Authority to give this age-old town a new perspective. Just at the juncture of two Banka Bridge, namely Acharya Sukumar Sen Setu and Banka Bridge at Perbirhata, this Clock Tower and Tower Garden has been developed. A big clock to check the time and a little resting place for pedestrians is the need of the hour...and here that is..and at night, this place looks just gorgeous with colourful lightings. So what do you think...is not a visit a mandatory one?
