★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited bharjari oota near central mall jayanagar.order the south Indian food Worst food ever, not good service no taste in food. Instead of half of the price we can eat in sagara hotels. Extra 20 Rs ice-cream they are giving without asking. No taste in sambar Palya they are unable to manage rush. Instead of wasting money you can visit normal sagara hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered barjari oota and food taste was ok ok kind, didn't like the way it was served.
Looks like, chapathi was made in morning ?
Also, space is very limited, one has to wait especially over weekends.
Management, please separate wash basin and eatery area, it's disgusting.
Not recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had been here for lunch, food is good. We felt like we attended some function. It will be good to attend with family and friends. Masala dose, obbattu, fryums and many more were served for a decent price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch was good. The service is not so good. If you are not aware of food being served the hotel staff remain silent. Be aware that the ice cream is part of the Lunch. But if the customer(s) do not ask for it the hotel staff will not even tell to the customer and will not serve the Ice cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You buy the coupon at the ground floor, go to the first floor from the left, finish your meal, walk to the other side of the restaurant and come down from the right side. It's a weird experience. That's about the pre and post dine-in experience.
The place has 0 vibe and no ambience whatsoever. There are, maybe around 20-24 tables in cramped condition and is very congested. That explains why the entry and exit is designed that way.
Now, talking about the food, the unlimited "Bharjari oota" costs Rs.190. As the attached photo shows, they serve a lot of items and the food will definitely remind of a typical south canara function meal (though a south canara function meal will have 3x more items). The food wasn't as presentable as shown in the picture, as there was no veg salad, no butter on the dosa or ghee on the rice!
The food is served in a plantain leaf, with 2 types of kosambari, salt and pickpalya, a fryums, paysa and hoLige.
Kosambari, palya and paysa were standard stuff. It was not extraordinary, nor bad. HoLige with ghee was soft and tasted really good. Next up was Mysore masala dosa with chutney. The dosa was the size of the palm, which is apt, considering you can eat as many dosas as you want. The dosa was crispy and had decent filling. Full marks for the dosa. Also, I was served only tomato soup, but no coriander soup. When asked, I wasn't given a proper explanation. I liked the tomato soup though. Phulka was served with channa masala and dal tadka. It was okay.
Next was pulav+raitha and Bisibelebath. Bisibelebath was yum and tasted awesome, whereas pulav was at the other end of the spectrum and was flavourless and boring. Then it was plain rice with rasam and sambar. Rasam was peppery and tasted good, but the sambar was watery and bland. Curd rice was okay. The complimentary ice cream was below average.
Overall, an unlimited vegetarian meal for Rs.190 is worth the price as long as you don't care about the ambience. Also, it's not worth getting small kids here as they charge Rs.145 and there are no other options.
Food - 3/5
Ambience - 1/5
Service - 4/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barjari oota .
Located in jayanagar
Costs 190₹ for per meal.
You Should buy token in the ground floor and go to first floor to have food
They even give a complimentary free token for ice cream ( cone ice cream ) which you can collect after having lunch at ground floor
Limited to three flavours (chocolate , vanilla , strawberry )
Speaking of ambience it's quite congested compared to other places, you cannot expect privacy
Finding seats can be a Little hard if u visit during peak hours .
Speaking of food -
1) All below mentioned foods are UNLIMITED you can have how much ever you want , but the real catch is **OBBATU IS LIMITED TO ONLY ONE** , you can get extra by asking but they charge you for that.
2)There wil be slight changes in menu everyday.
They serve food in banana leaf.
They give you a welcome drink (Tomato or vegetable mix soup (-coriander) mostly) .
They serve with 2 types of kosambari , palya, payasa like a typical south Indian function meal, then they serve obbatu with ghee which was really soft and good to taste (kai obbatu when we visit ) , later comes up with masala dose with chutney which was crispy , soft ( not like usual size , it's very small can eat how much ever you need , you won't get bored ) and served chapati with dal takda and leafy gravy , and serve small pieces of papad types .Next was pulav and rice (looked like Tomato bath but didn't taste like it) it was decent and lastly comes up with white rice with rasam and vegetable sambar, and curd rice at last.
Later you can visit the ground floor dessert section and have the ice cream through the token they have given.
It's a must to have that token with you.
Can recommend this place for typical meal.
