This is also one of the big fish supply point to city.
Now a days M2M Ferry run from here (Mumbai- Mandva).
I must say it was well maintained and operated.
The loading and offloading of passengers and Their vehicles were taken care by the team of M2M ferries and they were really good.
This port and roro service is going to be the biggest contribution to Alibaug and Madva's tourism.

Since childhood I have been visiting this place. From a pleasant weekend gateway to transforming itself to a world class harbour, we've seen it all. After Sassoon dock (Colaba, it has the second largest fish market in Mumbai City. Don't miss the early morning wholesale fish market.
You can travel here by your own vehicle (Two Wheeler preferred) or board a BEST bus from Dockyard Road Railway Station.
Do visit once to explore this hidden gem.

This Place is also famous for Fish ?? Market. It is Mumbai's oldest and biggest fish market of Mumbai. You can buy fish at best price (lowest price) and best quality than any part of the Mumbai. This is wholesale as well as retail fish market. You need to reach just before the sun rise to buy best quality fish. Fish Market is open till 10 in the Morning.

The wharf serves as the port for numerous fishermen who bring in their daily catch. Ferry services link up JNPT, Uran to the east, and Rewas and Mandwa to the south. The wharf is used by the students of the Training Ship Rahaman which is an institute for maritime studies on the island of Nhava.

Thousands of fish varying in all possible shapes, sizes and varieties can be found here, that you may possibly have never known about or seen before. Heaps and heaps of fresh catch allows you to choose from an unimaginably wide range. We bet not all of you must have seen a 6 ft long fish!
