The reservoir created by Bhavli dam and the river which flows from dam - are scenic. One can continue journey beyond reservoir to visit Taked and Bhandardara to enjoy being amongst lofty Sahyadri peaks -- it wil give feeling of Monument Valley and Grand Canyon of America.

Excellent waterfall in front of Bhavali dam. Scenic beauty is on its best if you visit this place in rainy season. If good rains water flow is full it's great sight. Having many roadside shops serving local snacks, tea and butta. Good place to enjoy a day with family and friends.

It's a very pleasant place to visit during monsoons. The pool at the feet of the waterfall and the entire lake is a nice turquoise colour with clear and clean water. Be careful about a few slippery patches around the waterfall. The waterfall has 3 levels: the first one is at the level of the road and easy to reach. The second one needs a little climb from the side of the first level and is a slightly difficult climb. The route to the third level starts farther away at the side of the hill and is a long hike. This place was open during covid as well, with no police or security. But that also makes it you responsible for your own safety in terms of Covid protocol and not venturing the risky parts of the falls.

The best time of the year to visit the waterfall, would be during the monsoon season. If you visit the waterfall during the winter season then the waterfall is dried up and nothing much to see.
