★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet place with a breathtaking view of mountains and lake. There are resorts nearby, but one can just visit this place for some piece of mind as well. Lots of birds chirping and insects noise can be heard here. There are dogs here, would be nice to brings biscuits or snacks for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lake which is accessible from Igatpuri railway station. It's little more than 1 km from the railway station. If you are driving down from mumbai, take left near mahindra factory and follow the map. The place is serene with beautiful hills on 3 sides of the lake. Evening time is blissful with cool breeze. Recently locals have started consuming liquor near the lake and one can see a lot of liquor bottles strewn around. If you have some more time, you can also visit the near by trekking point which is one the right hand side of the lake
