Also had veg kababs and phirni , which was also good in taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For Kolkata Biriyani lovers this isnt a place for you. It just smells nice (may be because of the rose and keora water) but lacks the taste. This tastes nothing like the kolkata biriyani. Unfortunately I have tried their biriyani in Kolkata and it was bad there as well. Two stars for the packaging.

Biriyani By kilo has the most authentic aroma and flavour. It comes in earthen pots where layered biriyani is prepared in Dum, so one gets the actual Dum flavour when u open the lid. It's prepared fresh on each order.
The packaging is spill proof, perfect. Their presentation is their USP. I loved their non-veg kebab platter and other starters. I have tried their Kolkata dum chicken biriyani and Hydrebadi chicken biriyani. They know the distinguished flavours of these two different biriyani, they have done complete justice. It comes with 4-5 chicken pieces with one leg piece. The half kg quantity is good enough for one. The best long grain basmati rice quality has been used. So quantity and quality wise also this brand is doing great.

Each handi comes with two candles to heat the earthen pots. It's always delivered hot at your doorstep otherwise. Even the accompanying dishes like salan and chutneys are really good.

Special mention to their magical dessert Phirni. The phirni is so perfect and delectable. Don't forget to tag a phirni along with every biriyani order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The one Biryani to quench your biriyani cravings flavors, the texture of the rice fluffy just right with that salan and raita. the one to look for if you are just willing to satisfy your palate.
We ended our meal with a thick and delicious phirni which kinda felt apt, after a good biryani and spicy starter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the thing I always admire is having food in earthern Pots, as it gives totally authentic taste and remind you of older times.
and when I heard how Biryani by kilo brings to your doorstep the authentic taste of Kuchi and Pukki biryani prepared in individual earthen Handis with freshest ingredients I can't control my excitement.
We completely enjoyed their Veg Platter with dip and chutneys, Biryani.
Lastly the Phirni sent in earthern pot was just mind blowing, and so delicious

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I keep ordering from here, the Kebabs are just melt in mouth, and their Phirni is the best ever. I ve tried a couple of Biryanis but the Paneer always tops the list. Also their concept of sending the Biryani along with the re-heating setup is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got really excited when I came to know that Biryani by Kilo has opened multiple branches in Bengaluru and ordered in from a nearby outlet. I ordered half kg kolkata chicken biryani, chicken ghee roast and matka phirni.
Really liked their concept of giving a small aanch with couple of small wax candles using which you can "dum" your biryani. Biryani was delicious. It had 2 chicken pieces, 1 piece potato and a boiled egg. Chicken ghee roast is my all time favourite. Phirni was the best way to end the meal. Do order from a nearby outlet and try it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They serve Amazing Biryani. The packaging was spill proof with the safety measures applied. The presentation of the dish was awesome, they serve in earthen pots and the they also provide candles and another earthen pots to heat the dish. Totally loved the way they presented this dish.
The 1kg biryani was sufficient for 4 people and the biryani had multiple layers in it. The gravy and the raita with it was also amazing. Totally loved their food and presentation.
Also tried their Phirni dessert, even that was served in earthen pots. Beautifully presented and taste wise it was great.
The delivery person from the biryani by kilo also suggested ways to heat the food and also to mix the three layers for better taste.
A must try place.
