About Blue Tokai Coffee | Deer Park
Our mission since we started has stayed simple: introduce our customers to the estates we directly buy our great tasting coffee from, roast the beans with care, and make high quality coffee more accessible through our cafes and our website. The coffee we roast is the coffee we like to drink, and we hope you like it too.
At Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, we follow a simple set of beliefs.
Transparency is much more than just where we get our beans from.
The first thing we did when we started our company was to highlight our award winning farms. This idea of transparency organically evolved to the way we worked in other areas too - our baristas are always present to discuss brewing tips, our customer service team are there to walk you through your coffee questions, and our roasting team to show you how they work.
A culture of constant learning is the key to always pushing coffee forward.
We are consistently researching, testing and implementing best practices throughout our business to raise the bar. Making refractometers essential for our cafe brewing, holding advanced sensory learnings for junior roasters, and experimenting with processing at the farm level are just some of the ways that our highly skilled team is constantly evolving the way Indian coffee is treated, experienced or communicated about.
Sourcing the best coffee beans does not guarantee good coffee.
Although we have a dedicated sourcing team for green beans and have invested in establishing quality roasting parameters, we know that a lot more steps still have to fall into place to brew a good cup. This is why we have worked hard to create coffee training centres to impart leading procedures such as equipping baristas with assessing and reporting tools for precision brewing, and cupping every single batch that is roasted to ensure consistent quality.

Fresh selection of baked breads, sandwiches and salads.
The coffee comes steaming hot with just the right amount of sugar, beautifully presented in their signature Pastel Blue Coffee Cups.
Drool-Worthy Dishes: Egg and Mushroom Sandwich + Mashed Avocado ? Dip(Guacamole)
Special Mention: Hot Chocolate
This quiant little coffee shop has everything that one wants- Warm and Cosy Interiors, Wonderful Lighting, Sweet and Smiling Staff along with a great outside view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't think I really need to say it but I shall, nonetheless - brilliant coffee as usual. This new outlet has opened just a day back (this review was posted on 9th September, 2018) and I couldn't help but visit this outlet as well.
It is no secret that I am in love with the wonderful coffee that they serve. And the best part about them, apart from the coffee ofcourse is the fact that their staff is brilliant and the ambience somehow makes you fall more and more in love with the entire theme of their cafe! Blue Tokai has been shifting the perspective of people when it comes to the coffee culture in India, and I'm really glad they're bringing in a change; a positive change.
I love Blue Tokai's different varieties, especially their Cappuccino, flat white, iced latte and coffee tonic. Overall, I love these guys. Totally do. ??
Edit (March, 2022): The only real 'issue' I feel is the phone network, which somehow doesn't seem to work inside the cafe, but as soon as you step out, it's fine (both, cell reception for calls & 4G internet). However, since they've wifi, maybe you can make use of it when you're here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not all Blue Tokai outlets are the same in terms of cup quality. This outlet definitely tops the list of Blue Tokai outlets with amazing espresso-based drinks. I've been here several times and their cappucinos have never disappointed me. Very balanced. Not overly bitter or acidic. Lots of complexity and sweetness.
The location fosters a community feeling and the service is brilliant.

The presentation and the ambience is good, no doubt. But the main thing, the coffee itself is terrible. So what's the point of visiting a cafe?
