No police authorities to help disable persons and preventing to travelling general commuters in disabled coaches.

It's also starting point for locals leaving to both ends Churchgate and Virar. 90% of upcountry trains stop here. Station is well maintained. Ample local transport viz bus, auto, taxi services available round the clock. Most safe station for all commuters. Bus service to Thane is available from Borivali railway station. Railway waiting room available. Ample ticket booking windows available. You get tickets within 1 to 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Borivali Railway Station (Code = BVI)This station was inaugurated on April 12, 1867. It 9is a terminus for all slow, semi-fast and fast trains on the Mumbai Suburban Railway system. It also serves as the final city-limit stop for all mail and express trains on Western Railway before leaving Mumbai.
There are 9 platforms at the station.
1st - Caters to Churchgate bound trains
2nd - Caters to Churchgate bound trains
3rd - Caters to both Churchgate bound and Virar bound Trains
4th - Caters predominantly to Churchgate bound trains
5th - Caters to both Churchgate and Virar bound trains
6th - Caters to Virar bound trains and also long distance Express like Rajdhani express and Mail trains going outside Mumbai
7th - Caters to Churchgate bound fast trains and also long distance Express and Mail trains coming into Mumbai

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frequency is less... Only one food store... Less sitting arrangement... Way out is very narrow & messy... Trains take half after 50 mitr at signals towards churchgate which is for almost 5-7 min.... Very narrow platform... Lights are low... Only one digital watch & two indicators... No guards on this platform...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Borivali being so huge..the station is equally huge.Being a lazy traveller..I like travelling at ease and at non peak hours.Platform no.1 is the best for easy going travellers like me. At peak hours it gets crowded but at non peak hours its a travellers delight. Although reaching platform 1 would need a lil bit of extra walking(in case you are changing trains). If you are a local resident then all you need to do is take a rick or bus n directly get down near the platform( no climbing bridges). They have a ticket counter which is rarely over crowded (unlike the crowd you notice at the ticket counter located outside platform 2).
