★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the deepest pond in sonarpur. It is a historical as well as holy place. Writer Bhibhuti bhusan Bandhopadhya has visited here when he was teaching in the school of harinavi. A shiv temple loknath temple baba panchanan temple has situated here. Many hindu devotees are worship here . Sonarpur BDO Office has situated here. From the bank of the pond a big playground has there. Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya is situate here. ..................

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a large waterbody under Rajpur Sonarpur municipality . But this is of no use . Totally a waste non maintained lake . No utilisation of this has been done ever . It could be like a park as Benu Bana Chhaya of Patuli Kolkata or Banabitan ( Cental Park ) of Salt Lake City or like Eco Park of New Town . . An Aqua Park like Aquatica of New Town with various joy rides for children and kids . A ' Wet - O - Wild ' of Nicco Park , a Water Amusement Park , where everyone could enjoy at Weekends and Holidays .

There is not much to see here, but, if you come here, you will spend two hours in peace on the lake, visit the four temples next to it, and return home happy. ?
