β β β β β I am very disappointed to share an absolute atrocious behavior and most horrendous experience I have ever had in a Hotel- Park Inn, Bilaspur. I am not confident but I supppse the park inn hotel is a 3 star property of the renowned Carlson group and truly expected the hospitality as experienced in ur Park Plaza category hotels while Radisson Blu would stand league apart when compared to this variant of ur Hotel. My concerns are not restricted to filthy restroom, uncouth staff and most importantly unhygienic food (hair strand in Gulab jamun) and extremely rude, argumentative and defensive General Manager - Mr. Arora.
To illustrate the episodes, visited the Hotel with 38 of my women colleagues for a Corporate event - The well known Women's day celebration. The facility was booked couple of days in advance through Mr. Pankaj. It so happened that my colleagues reached the Hotel half an hour early than me and were enjoying their meal (completely settled) when I reached the Hotel. Unfortunately, I wished to use the restroom to freshen up and was completely taken aback with such a shabby and filthy set up. There was hair all over the place with footsteps etc and absolutely no one cleaning it, so much so that I actually didnβt use the facility and came out in complete disgust. I met the Restaurant manager though I insisted on seeing the front office Manager in this case, and had to share my feedback and it was astonishing for me to see him defend the case than being receptive and taking action. Anyhow, this wasnβt less that I requested for a table as I saw nearly full space been acquired by my colleagues already and I was outrightly denied the same saying it has been reserved for guests! Not sure if we were treated differently. Anyhow, started having my lunch, ordered few chapatis from the kitchen while initially again I was being redirected to the buffet table but on persistent requests; the uncooperative staff agreed to serve freshly made chapatis on table (really kind of them to accept at least one request, without much of persistence) and then it was just mind boggling for me when I started relishing my dessert- black gulab jamun that I saw a hair strand in it! I was really flabbergasted on this and requested to see the GM or someone senior as this was completely unacceptable and temedndously unhygienic. Again to my surprise the gentleman- Mr. Arora came in full defensive mode about everything else and only saw the hair in dessert as a small issue. I mean really! I have absolutely no words about the conversation and behavior of the gentleman who claimed to be the GM of the property, he was so absolutely annoying to talk to! Never witnessed this hostile behavior in a hospitality industry!
I am mocking sitting here about all these experiences I have had in this facility and truly if Radisson is actually associated with it though they name it as Park In by Radisson. If a GM is so uncouth in nature, so defensive and so outrightly loud and unreceptive; the plight of this hotel is certainly short lived !
I hope my message reaches the concerned and some action is taken to improve the staff and facility before it runs into shambles.
