Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. The Bank's overall performance in recent years is not satisfactory just as the case with most other public sector banks.
Crisil has downgraded its ratings of Central Bank of India along with seven other public sector banks in India.It has been reported in The Hindu (27th Sept,16) that the Bank incurred bad debt of Rs.26,000 crore and a loss of Rs.1,420 crore.The Chairman and MD of Central Bank of India, Rajeev Rishi had commented that “If our employees make Rs. 3,000 crore cash recovery from NPAs, the bank can survive.” He asked employees to mobilise more operating profits from current and savings accounts.

I Deposited 10k Through ATM Machine & That ATM Machine Got Failed And I Wasted My Money.
So I Wrote 3 Application regarding The amount that I Deposited and got transition failed.
7 days gone still the money didn't reflected Into the account. So I went to the bank and talked to the accountant and asked regarding the Application that I Wrote.
The Way he replied was very rude, He Told Me An idiot In front of the people in the bank and started scolding.
Well is the way to talk with the customers?
Is that the way how the bank person treats the customers.?
I am so sad that even our bank people couldn't help their customers well and don't Know how to treat with the customers.
Worse Service ever.
Don't even want to rate 1 star.
Very very very disappointed.
Disgusting Accountant (Guy With The Bald Head).
I've seen that Account doing that samething to an old lady who came for some replacement. I Felt Pity On That Old Lady.
Maybe The Floor Workers Should Improve On How To Treat and talk with The Customers.
Very Very Bad Service Except The Branch Manager, Only Him Knows How To Treat with The Customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I maintain SB a/c with at DL Block branch. 4 times cheques issued by me have been returned by bank on the pretext of signature differs. I submitted fresh signature and they have assured for updation. Even after, my issued cheque returned. Staff are lezy and worthless. Nobody should open a/c in this bank particularly Salt Lake Branch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst bank service. Employees are not co-operating with customers. Very less employees for handling the customer. AC not working. Wrong information supplied by bank employees. Too much problem for Beliaghta CBI bank customers to this bank. Beliaghta CBI bank merged with Salt Lake CBI bank.
People have to go Karunamoyee & then another auto to near Joyti Basu house. Or take metro from phoolbagan metro to Central park metro station. CBI debit card also have some problem.
Very very very bad. People are closing their bank accounts due to distance & poor services. Even a bank phone number is not working to get any info in emergency situations.
