My 1st trip with Chalo Jaai was Rajasthan in 2016. We had very good experience with them. So we decided to travel 2nd time with them to Sikkim in March 2021. Our experience this time was worst. Their service has deteriorated a lot.
First of all bad tour program. They leave out the best spots and show you the less popular spots.
They promise to provide 3 star hotels with Aquagard for drinking water. But actually they provided cheap quality hotels with tap water for drinking water! Rooms were so dirty, dirty commode, broken taps,
switch boards comming out, dirty dusty floors, dirty curtains, dirty blankets, dirty pillow covers with stinking smell?? forget about sanitization?
And this is for all the hotels that we stayed during the tour.
Coming to food, same menu every day with only 3 or 4 items very limited quantity and quality was worse than the worse street side food stall. It felt like we are beggars and they are favouring us serving free food ?? Same goes for breakfast and evening snacks. They provided half egg omelet and half cup tea.
Cars provided were of worse condition with starting problem which stopped 1hour after starting the journey. Car doors not locked properly and opened automatically. It was so risky to travel in mountainous roads in such cars!
Don't believe? Trust me it was hard for us too to believe that we are experiencing all these with such a reputed travel agency like "Chalo Jaai". They charged around 23k (including GST & other charges) per person for 10days (which is actually 7days excluding 3days train journey). For 23k is this the quality of service they should provide??????
We have complained to their office and our tour managers during our trip, but no result. They have taken us for granted.
This is my last tour with them??? Will never ever think of travelling with "Chalo Jaai" again and will not recommend anyone.
They deserve negative rating but will give 1 star keeping in mind our first tour with them ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Sunderban with Chalo Jai travels. Really a great experience. The food they provided are awesome and tasty with large quantity. Service is best. One service which I really liked is that they provide tea according to your requirement- milk tea( with/without sugar), without milk tea(with/without sugar), ginger tea etc. The hotel they provided is good. They also organized traditional dance program of Sunderban the hotel premises. They provide ac bus which wass ok. They took us to all the places that are mentioned in their website. Overall, I would recommend everyone to have a visit with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Office staffs are cordial. Two tours I have participated with them. One Andaman and another Dooars. As far as these tours are concern we have nice experience. There all inclusive rate seems very reasonable. In future we will again travel with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently travelled with Chalo Jai to Kashmir in April 2022...and i would not reconsider this travel agency for my next trips
Reasons
The food served apart from being bland was so bad 90% people travelling suffered from loose stool and vomiting and got too weak to travel
The behaviour of the managers were not polite at all and discouraged us to travel to phase 2 gulmarg or pony rides at many places
Instead of taking us to Aru valley they took us to a random view point and claimed that to be the location inspite of many people protesting to it.
I travel a lot and have been with much better travelling agents and surely will not recommend this agency for family travel.
Hence 1star.
