Its a very quiet, peaceful and tranquil place to visit if you want to escape the noise of the city. Short drive from Bhubaneswar, the road leading to it is also excellent. The place has a small well maintained park/garden just beyond the entrance. There are 2 elephants nearby who are looked after by the staff members. Beyond the park lies the actual forest. There are battery cars to be hired to travel into the forest. Entry into the premises costs ₹40/person and battery car costs ₹100/person. We didn't take the battery car and just walked some distance into the forest which was absolutely peaceful with the only sounds coming from our footsteps and the chirping of the birds! Don't expect to see anything spectacular here, its ideal for a short weekend trip.

Nice place to visit to see a kind of wild life and rich flaura and fauna. You may not see proper wild animals big definitely elephants, deers, birds etc. Inside a deep silence one can observe with chirping of birds and trumpet of elephants.

Lovely placee. But there are only 3-4 elephants and if you're lucky then you'll be able to spot any deer. There is no facility to buy any food supplements nearby, so would recommend you to carry snacks with you.

This is a good place and the forest is dense and cool but hardly you can see animals except 2 elephants which are tied up and stationed at fixed places. So the jungle safari is not something you can expect too much.
