★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to feel Buddhist culture. Little tibet, we can get a taste of it without going to lahasa, arunachal or Tibet proper. One can visit the temple, buddhism related temple artifacts and even can a bird's eye view of on the life that goes on in the monastery. It has canteen for the visitor and many nice view points. Only negative, it is located outside common rout of public transportation and therefore bot difficult to reach for non car travellers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chandrgiri also known as Phunksokling or Tibet of Odisha is a seat for Buddhist Monasteries, Tibetan refugee camps, Cool climate and few water falls around. College climates prevails round the year and most of the times it rains in chandragiri. Beautiful monasteries like Nyedo Kagyu, Labarasinghi and the Mighty Jiranga Padmasambhava Monasteries are located here. One can enjoy this place especially in winters with family, can taste Tibetan food, shop for Tibetan shawls, rugs and other hand made articles. This place is located on NH 326A i.e. between Paralakhemundi and Mohana at a distance of 85 km from Paralakhemundi and 240 km from Bhubaneswar.
