★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school is very oldest school. It was established during British rule. It is situated in Chandrakona of Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, India. It was founded by the late Zamindar Jaykrishna Mukhopadhyay. Pandit Iswar chandra Vidyasagar visited this school in 1854. With his recommendation, the school was affiliated as a Middle English school in 1856 and was upgraded to an H.E. school in 1871.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a student of Chandrakona Jirat High School myself. So I have a great experience from it. All the old memories are attached with the school. It is a higher secondary school ( five to twelve class). And it has three sections (Science, Arts, Commerce) in higher secondary level. I think it is one of the oldest and best school of west bengal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the heritage school of West Midnapore district. It was established in 1856 by famous jamindar of Uttarpara, Lt. J.K.Mukherjee. I studied here from class 5 to 10 and I have lot of cherish memories. Had so much fun with friends and teachers. Apart from study, also participated in lot of cultural programmes, sports and other such activities. Indeed it's the best school in Chandrakona Town.
