You can see its one of the most famous places in Shimla, actually its the benchmark that you have visited Shimla and taken a picture near the church area.
Loads of people come to enjoy different things, like the view, market and amazing weather and the best is snow fall.

Just very great. Currently it's closed due to covid. Just very good place to enjoy thr majestic view of the real nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Christ Church, is the second oldest church in North India which is situated on The Ridge. The church is lit at night to illuminate it.
The church contains five fine stained glass windows. One represents the Christian virtues of Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Patience, and Humility. The chancel window was designed by Lockwood Kipling. The pipe-organ of Christ Church is the largest in the Indian subcontinent; it was installed in September 1899.
Among the church's holdings are a great collection of books and ancient scriptures.

It was beautifully decorated and lit up during Christmas. You can expect a lot of crowd here during peak travel season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must watch place in Shimla. This is an old Christian church built by the British Government in 1857. This is located near the mall road and near the ridge. The location is wonderful and the top view of the city from here is fantastic. The snow covered trees and city is the main attraction of the view point. This is a crowdy place in peak season. There are lots of small shops and outlets from where you can purchase gifts and food.
