★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tunnels are of thrill and attraction in the Shimla Kalka toy train route. This time while coming down from the Shimla hills we indulged our time in riding toy train and enjoyed the views on both sides as much as possible. Lush green valley amidst lofty Himalayan mountains makes you spellbound by its charm. Golden sunshine showers new energy on you as you sit beside the window of the toy train. And. .all of a sudden darkness of tunnels engulfs you withdrawing every color from your vision and leaving you puzzled in the utter black. In few seconds you again come out to shining view of mountain....this hide-and-seek leaves us engrossed...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's no need for this tunnel if you can get to the tibetian market from the ridge itself. off ICICI Bank side. Smells of piss. Dirty, not maintained. Lighting is adequate and its a fast walk through or else youll get bumped. Not friendly for the aged, handicapped or infirm. Shimla Tourism needs to revamp this hole.

I have cut one star due the poor maintenance of the tunnel. Local authorities should take care of such important landmarks which serves huge number of people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tunnel is colder and leads to a place colder than the starting point... It's cool.... There is Bazaar on both the sides and it's just a part where you pass through... Yes the tunnel is dirty on the sides but it's a cool tunnel... Like old and ancient
