At one point of time it used to attract notable intellectuals, poets, novelists and others for Bengali type ‘Asda’ over drinks and boiled peas, Bengal grams, and lots of lemon juice. The fare was easy on pocket and after a few drinks guests will be electrified by the discussions on a variety of subjects. Now perhaps the atmosphere of the old is missing.
