Ambience of the restaurant is so royal. I love the music played at the restaurant, that is traditional and soothing.

β β β β β What a find and fabulous food. Amazing dinint experience, had mutton which was cooked to perfection and so well spiced. Went there for dinner the next day as well to have the mutton dish. Chef was amzing anf also made some adjustmenta to the chutneys. Parathas (south india style) were fluffy and light. Def coining back and recommend it highly

β β β β β Recently I visited this place twice and I had a lovely experience which made me give a full rating.
The best thing is menu has so many options for vegetarian as well and the dishes are just amazingly done !
Must try kodi gajala,Kodi Gassi,Karur kari Kozhambu,Tomato pappu,Appam and filter coffee,
The staff is very friendly and service is also white good !

β β β β β Dakshin, authentic South Indian restaurant at ITC Sheraton saket serves amazing coastal cuisine which leaves a great impression. we tried here South Indian thali which carries many beautiful dishes covers all signatures from menu.andsup with sumptuous filter coffee.

β β β β β Please dont go by the good reviews for this restaurant. This is not authentic south indian restaurant. People who have reviewed are not south indians and they have no idea what authentic south indian food tastes like. The food was really very bad. The food was not at all satisfactory. The price ofcourse was gonna be high for a 5 star restaurant. But the quality and the taste of food was really not good. Went there with very high expectations but... Please dont go by the reviews

β β β β β Fine dining as a concept is very new to India. In general, when people here go out and spend a lot, they expect to be served a lot of recognisable food and fancy cutlery. Dakshin brings out the shuttle nuances of fine dining.
The menu is carefully crafted, detailing a series of culinary gems from the cuisines of the south. I loved the fact that there was no simple dosa or uttapam on the menu. However, the downside is is that most North Indians would not be able to understand anything from the menu when with the detailed descriptions of the items. But sometimes that is a good thing since it forces one to spend a little bit of time in exploring the items.
Liked the professional service and minimal wait time. The servers are also dressed perfectly. Prices are what you'd expect.
Felt the decor could be redone with a more South Indian flavour, without taking away the contemporary feel. Did not like the nondescript, typical posh setting with light colour walls, and warm lights. Right now it feels like a place where foreigners would come to try to exotic dishes.
