★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a friend visited the doc today and had very disappointing things to say about his behaviour. patients do commit blunders, the doctors need to have patience. the patient has every right to visit more than one doctor, to confirm about his health. doctor was offended about it and was extremely rude. though a very good doctor, he needs to keep a check on his temper

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Save your patients life by not visiting this doctor. He cant make good or quick decision he is rather focus on making money.
He dont operate a person when required urgently, rather he will go for conservative treatment and Hyperberic Treatment which is never suggested by other neurosurgeon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best surgeon I have met . Besides his skills and expertise he is a great human being, humble and courteous. At times he has gone beyond his way to help me which is not his arena.There are very few who does this . Lastly he ensures he replies you to the message you sent and your query is solved. God bless him and his family...Its not just me but many such patients life he has touched whomever he has treated. I myself is testimony of hearing from them regarding the surgeon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Abhaya is the one doctor whom you can count on that he will do his best. His discipline, his knowledge, his way of working, his transparency and his team is worth all appreciation.
My brother who suffered Brain Hemorrhage was operated by Abhaya sir. After 5 months of struggle my brother passed away. But sir is the reason due to which my brother could live the 5 months.
Abhaya sir made me understand practically. He took update from other department doctors involved in my brother's treatment and always ensured I was updated. His dedication shows that for him nothing is more important than a patient. My brother's case was very critical but he never gave up and he kept doing his best, in his words, "aggressive treatment". Some people say his way of working is old school but he is known as "Magic Man" and at the end that is what matters.
I would strongly recommend him.

I saw a negative review with comment that said "He was in a hurry"... Trust me people his role and work is as such that he will always give the time needed to the kind of severity. He operates emergency cases and my brother's case was an emergency. If he doesn't rush, there are people who will lose lives. Not all doctors can do MAGIC !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really found Dr Abhaya Kumar very confused & in turn created confusion in my mind too. I spent 2200 as a new patient & also spent 1100 in travelling to kokilaben ambani hospital & what I got was Confusion & Big Dissapointment.
He prescribed me a list of medicines but when I asked him whether it will heal me, his answer was medicines won't help in this case.
When I asked him if operation is required, his answer was for Grade 1 it is not required.
When I asked him whether lumbar belt would be helpful for my slip disk issue, his answer was it won't help but his assistant told me to wear lumbar belt.
His suggestion was to take complete bedrest & physiotherapy for which I have to go to a physiotherapist. He didn't even explain me the excercise.
He didn't even check me physically, I have severe low back pain but he didn't even tell me to lay down to check my lower back spine. He maintained good distance of 10 feet from me.
He suggested bedrest but when I told him that I spend 5 hours in a day to travel to office & I suffer lot of jerks & pain while travelling in share cab & rickshaw, his answer was don't bring office issues, everyone has to go to work.
He suggested bedrest but when I asked for a certificate which I can share with my employer to request work from home for few days, his answer was that he is a specialist & how can I ask a certificate from him.
He hardly gave me 5 minutes, is Rs 2200 worth only 5 minutes???
Yesterday I met a orthopedic doctor in Bhayandar east who charged me only Rs 200 & gave me good time & explained in detail.
To meet a spine specialist & also to take second opinion I went to Kokilaben Ambani hospital. I was expecting a good doctor & hence I travelled so far but very very dissapointed. I think it is meant for rich people who have ample money to waste.
I even saw banner & standee there that this Ambani venture is for charity. Charging 2200 & giving 5 minutes of doctors time, what type of charity is this?
