A nice location commemorating a well renowned figure, but the thing is in the middle of the road and cars are constantly zooming by from your blind spot. Worth a close look if you can reach it without dying.

Babasaheb statue is near oval maidan. The place is well maintained and clean. It's maintained by BMC Mumbai. You can view the place while travelling through mantralaya road towards museum.

An inspiring statue of “Babasaheb” Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar built in a small but well maintained garden opposite the High Court. Befitting his contributions to our nation, a flame burns 24X7 in the garden. There is also a beautiful replica of the preamble of the constitution and a sculpture of Babasaheb’s biography. While the traffic around the garden is crazy, once in it you feel captivated by the work as if Babasaheb’s incredible contributions are energising the place. For our overseas friends visiting India, who might not be familiar with who this amazing man was - Against all odds he rose to become an eminent jurist, economist, and politician. Babasaheb was the biggest champion against social discrimination towards the untouchables (Dalits). He was Chairman of the Constituent Drafting committee, & independent India's first Minister of Law and Justice. He is considered the chief architect of the Constitution of India, which is why the book is enshrined in the garden opposite his statue.
