★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr.A.R.Nandi is a nephrologist practicing in Bellevue clinic and South Calcutta clinic. He's honest and a well experienced doctor. He carefully attends patients. I'm blessed that I found him fortunately and currently being treated under him with good improvement in my health.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one the worst doctors who are always on the lookout for extracting money from patients on the basis of false facts. They do not consider the outcomes and after-effects of the procedures the make the patient go through; it is a business to them and my recollection of the following experience will only prove that. One of my relatives apparently has a horseshoe kidney from birth which was unknown to her for a major part of her life till she met Dr.Rajagopal V. of Hyderabad Apollo Hospital. But before that, when she went to Dr Atish Ratan Nandi, this doctor spent over half an hour convincing her family and her that the non-functional kidney can cause severe infection and needs to be operated immediately. It was only a tract infection in actual. He never revealed the fact that what she had was a horseshoe kidney and many people have lived with it successfully without any kind of problems (later revealed by Dr.Rajagopal V.). Luckily for her, before she went for operation she had consulted Dr. Rajagopal V. from Hyderabad who ultimately revealed the truth to everyone, with logic and proper reasoning. Dr. Rajagopal V. should be the one referred to as god-like, not these kind of people who take advantage of the naivety of their patients. So on behalf of all those who have suffered under the malicious doctors I request you to consult multiple doctors and preferably not of Kolkata or West Bengal origin before you take a major step like an operation. And when someone advises you to consult a Doctor, please do because that may affect you in a life altering way. Good luck in life to those who have read this and become wiser.
P.S. In case you are thinking why I have typed Dr.Rajagopal V.'s name numerous times it is not because of some kind of advertising or anything but because I cannot possibly express how thankful I am to him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. A.R. Nandi is not only a third grade doctor in nephrology but a worst person that our family have experienced. He misleads patient party and is sarcastic and insensitive in his remarks. He plays around the bush with non medical and irrelevant conversations. He has done wrong diagnosis to our patient and made the situation critical.
When haemoglobin, urea, creatinine, wbc all counts were alarming and the only solution was a dialysis, he prescribed oral medication and never emphasized on dialysis which lead to a critical condition. When an emergency situation arised he simply denied to even help in admitting the patient and instead misbehaved with patient party. Finally admission did not happen in Belle View Clinic and he did not even bother to call back to enquire about the patient whom he treated for last 2 years. He is a demon !!! When we discussed the case with other doctors they simply laughed at what this old Dr. Nandi had done. Never visit this Doctor as he will ruin your patient's health. We have really suffered a lot because of this worthless nut !!!
