Hi All, Successful surgery. .. That's what every patient and his/her family member would like to hear from doctor coming out from OT and we heard the same from Dr. Chirag for my mother's knee replacement.. I would like to introduce myself as Anand Jain living in Australia and my parents are in Surat. My mother was suffering from knee problem from a long time and has turned out into Chronic issue. We have tried allopathic, homeopathic, ayurvedic but all in vain. Similar to every one, with the name of Knee replacement surgery, my mom and we were getting just so scared.. One sudden day, she was in such utter pain and started crying and that's when we just thought to start exploring about knee replacement surgery. As we all know the ongoing pandemic situation and in order to limit the teavelling, we were keen to find the surgeons in Surat. We googled out about Dr. Chirag and he was having very good reviews and ratings on Internet. Honestly was having very slim trust on this kind of rating, so I have suggested parents to take an appointment and meet to doctor Chirag. Parents met Dr. Chirag and they were quite satisfied during the first meeting and also the hospital appears to be neat, tidy and very well equipped. Meanwhile, we were doing some research and jotting down all the queries/ complicacy that can arise during and post surgery. Later parents first meet with Dr. Chirag even I had a detailed talk with doctor over phone for around 75 minutes with the list of around 20-25 questions and honestly guys, I have seen most of the time, doctor won't like to open up completely but with Dr. Chirag, I was amazed the way in which he was explaining even all the technical depth which I have just learnt through Internet and his answer was so honest, open and provide a sense of satisfaction Thanks Dr. Saahab., keep it up. Finally we decided to perform the surgery with Dr. Chirag. The day was decided and mother was admitted in the hospital and next day she underwent surgery for both her knees which took around 4 hours. Dr. Chirag came out of the OT and mentioned Operation went successful, and that brought huge sigh of relief but then at the same time at the back of our head we were bit concerned about post recovery. She was in hospital for 4 days post surgery and then got discharged. Its almost now around 20 days post surgery and mum is recovering wery well. Every day Physio is coming at home and giving some good exercise to her. Pain has reduced a lot over last few days. In short we are happy with the way in which recovery is going on We are very happy with this entire journey and the credit goes to you Sir..
