★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My aunt (age 85) is residing in Dr Niranjan Wagh's 'Home For The Aged' for the last 23 years. She suffers from epileptic attacks and other health issues. She is being well looked after.
● HEALTH CARE: Dr Wagh is a qualified doctor. His late father was also a doctor. His mother too is a doctor, now retired. There is trained staff looking after the patients / inmates, and they're doing a good job. Dr Wagh's wife is a competent nurse. Both are devoting sufficient time and energy to manage the Home and look after the patients / inmates, with the help of their staff.
● FOOD: The food served is obviously good and nutritious. My 85-year old aunt has been eating this food, and she has stayed quite healthy over the last 23 years that she has been residing in this Home.
● HYGIENE & SURROUNDINGS: The place is kept neat and clean. At the same time, we must keep in mind that some of the aged patients are bound to wet their bed without warning; but they are attended to promptly, and hygiene is maintained. Diapers are used for patients who need them. We must remember that very aged people are likely to speak or behave in strange ways. Such situations are unavoidable, and the staff handles them with patience and tolerance. I've no complaint against the management or the staff. They're doing a reasonably good job of looking after the patients / inmates.
● BEDRIDDEN PATIENTS: It is very difficult to manage bedridden patients, especially feeding and cleaning them; that's why many old age homes refuse to take bedridden cases. Dr Wagh and his staff are doing a good job of looking after bedridden patients too. People must understand this fact and learn to appreciate the efforts put in by old age homes which accept bedridden cases.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the premises I know for a very long time.Started by DrMrsShailaja Wagh only to fulfil her dream to take care of old age patients who are bed ridden and not easy to take their care in city like Mumbai .
She was supported by her husband Dr Maharudra Wagh who also was a gem of person and spiritual person, Gynaecologist by profession .But in later part of life devoted his life in the service of Gurudev.. for purpose of humanity and peace for the Universe...
Now son Dr Niranjan and his wife Mrs Sumangala are wholeheartedly taking the care of the patients . Both are available for the professional service, day and night ,with the helping hands of experienced and softhearted staff.
I have very high respect for this family and their services and pray GOD to keep them physically socaily and mentally fit and fine to render the service for such noble cause.
I recommend to visit the place and have discussion with the patient's relatives and Wagh family and then only give the recommendation for admissions if any for your beloved senior parents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a fantastic and homely place in Jogeshwari that took excellent medical care of my brother received when needed. You do not find places in Mumbai for elderly care who think about elderly patients so deeply. I am sure that my brother is alive today due to excellent care he received when needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Niranjan Wagh’s Home for the Aged was visited thrice by me and my team as part of our social service activity. The administrative staff was very courteous, Dr. Sumangla Wagh showed us around the place and explained the clinical condition of every inmate.She and her entire team of caretakers are doing a great job , taking excellent care of all the senior citizens admitted . The place is hygienically well maintained. Dr. Wagh and his team ensures every inmate is fed on time , given medicine on time and the best part was every inmate appeared neat and clean and tidy as though under care of their own family ! Very happy to see Dr. Wagh and his team doing an excellent bit for the society .

Both the doctors are very much cooperative as well as soft-spoken. Moreover, Mrs. Wagh herself prepares most of the food and serves everyone which is certainly commendable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Wagh is providing old age care & Hospice services for many years now. I have good experience of Dr. Niranjan Wagh's Home for The Aged. Dr. Wagh and his staff take very good care of all patients and Sr. Citizens-most of whom are bed ridden and/or terminally ill. Round the clock Personal attention is given to all those admitted there for their individual needs of food, medication, nursing & Emergency support.
My mother in law is admitted at Home For The Aged for the past 3 months in comatose state after a motor accident and is being taken care of very well.
All of us within the family are satisfied with the professional management of the facility and care of patients. It is only because of Dr. Waugh and his staff's dedication to the cause of providing best of the nursing services that we are able to continue with our routine work & life despite of a bed ridden patient in the family. I am of the strong opinion that there can't be a better place than Dr. Wagh's Home for The Aged for patients with prolonged nursing needs or prolonged care of the aged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother has completed one year at this home. She is well cared for and the staff and Dr Niranjan Wagh and Mrs Wagh have always been polite and co-operative. My mother is kept clean and appears healthier at the home.it is very difficult to handle so many patients with dementia and other old age related problems and here the staff are doing the best they can.My.mother is in good hands and I do not have to worry about her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister at present is under the care of Dr Wagh's Nursing Home at Jogeshwari since 2 years and she has been given the best treatment and also taken care of any health issues. The Nursing Home treats not only my sister but also other old age members with great hospitality. Since my father was also kept at this Nursing Home in the year 1996 and there were no complaints at that time also i.e. nearly after more than 24 years also. I don't have any shortcomings in their hospitality given to my sister.
