★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The approach to metro railway station from Dumdum Road is full of temporary shops . Nobody cares for commuter's comfort. Lots of eateries, tea stall, fruit & vegitable vendors, beggers - just horrible. I have found some to run motor cycle and cycle through that passage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best stations out there.. Both the metro station and the rail station are in the same area so passengers can easily switch the mode of transport according to their needs.. Also a number of food stalls are present in the vicinity so you can take a quick snack if you like. Local bazaar is just adjacent to the staion premises so shopping vegetables, groceries, fish,meat and other goods is quite common among people who travel via DumDum junction

The mtero station is always crowded. Station is clean. The benches for the passenger are insufficient compare to the passenger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a Junction Station. From here you can go south line railway excluding Sealdah. It's also a metro rail station. From here you can take metro rail. Station Quality is Awesome. You can take Hasnabad Local, Bongaon Local, Krishnanagar Local, Barackpur Local, Dankuni Local, Gede Local, Duttapukur Local, Habra Local, Thakurnagar Local, Majherhat Local, B.B.D Bad Local etc. Very Busy Station and nice environment.
