★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an important metro station in South Kolkata. The station is adjacent to SP Mukherjee Road. There are many happening places, offices, community halls, colleges are there near the metro station. The area around station premises is not as large as compared to most of the metro stations. Important roads like Hazra Road, SP Mukherjee road are all around the station. This is also the nearest metro station to reach Asutosh College. The next metro station toward Dumdum is Netaji Bhavan and on the southern direction we have Kalighat. The adjacent crossing is very popular in Kolkata known as Hazra More. A maintenance standard of this metro station is as per other metro stations of Kolkata. I visited the JD Park station quite a few times for various purposes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JD Park Metro Station is located at Hazra Crossing. The station has multiple entry and exit. Ensure where you would like to visit before taking an exit. The station is well maintained compared to other Metro stations in Kolkata. Generally two ticketing counters remain operational during normal hours. Ticketing Staff are efficient in issuing tickets. Ensure you have mometory change as they do not provide changes to big currency notes. Only cash is accepted in all Metro Station so this station is no exception. Pls mind that this is a non AC station though air circulation is considerable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jatin Das Park Metro Station is just located near Jatin Das Park. Many food stalls are also available outside of this metro station. Asutosh college, Jogomaya college is just near this Metro Station. All transportations are also available from here to many places. It is one of the major station of Kolkata metro. Mostly train leave on time. Neat and clean, well maintained. Overall good service. Nice experience for all time visits.

We can access transport to Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan (Known as Sishu Mangal Hospital also) and we can access transport to Alipore court , Alipore central correctional home , Chittaranjan cancer hospital , Ashutosh college.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the busiest metro station so far at Hajra , the busiest area as same as Esplanade. Asuthosh college, cancer hospital, bijoli hall, pathfinder, sishumongol hospital can be access from here. I regularly travel here. Image of Recent increased metro fare is given in picture. All bus route to Ballygunge , garia is available here.
