The station is named for Rabindra Sarobar, an artificial lake and the surrounding area of south Kolkata. Good maintenance, yet needs some improvement.
Nowadays popular as a haunted place in Kolkata too, its one of the crowded and busy station, don't waste your time expecting some supernatural elements.
