★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The foot overbridge to platform 2 for up trains to sealdah is far away towards the end of platform 1 and people need to walk atleast the entire length of platform 1 more, that means double the length of platform 1 from the entry point to the station, to reach the foot over bridge.
So normally people cross the rail tracks at the entry point of platform 1 to reach platform 2, risking their lives from being hit by the down train or goods train.
Also as only few people use the foot overbridge, it has become a secluded spot for love couples...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently the height of the platform has been increased, so it has become much easy for boarding the trains for Majerhat and Budge Budge routes. But no lavatory is available though there is a toilet just at the entrance of Charu Chandra Place but it is locked for many years for some unknown reasons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After getting down at platform number 02, cannot go safely to Rabindra Sarovar metro station .Very much inconvenience.over bridge is made in a idiotic way.very bad station.people must avoid it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is somewhat clean, but newly created 2nd station makes no sense what so ever including the over bridge. It needs a 2nd bridge from the middle of 1st station. You will get sealdah - budge budge trains mostly. Attached metro station is a plus.

Because this station is a life line of many citizens came from budge budge, sontoshpur and bracebridge area. This is good junction for metro and sealdah budge budge train line. And the roadway is busy also. so a busy place needs more improvement.
