★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to go during Covid times. Restaurant is very well sanitised & follows all the safety norms. The only inconvenience was due renovation of their main lobby washroom. There is only one washroom for all the restaurants & that too at entrance.
Coming to the food, we had one of the best experience.
Starters- Dum Pukht Kakori
Main course- Dum Pukht Biryani
Desserts- Phirni & Rose Kheer
For starters we ate Dum Pukht Kakori & it was one of the finest mutton i had in my life, it melts in your mouth & tastes heavenly.
Biryani was too delicious, less of spices & the aroma of kesar itself will make you feel divine.
Phirni & kheer were cherry on the top, with apt amount of sugar, the desserts tasted too god.
I would suggest everyone to try their rose kheer it doesn’t contain any rice & is made of rose petals.
Overall a very good experience !! Kudos to the team at ITC..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place downstairs in ITC Maurya. Caution on time for Dum. We, a group of four, spent over 3 hours for our meals. White gloved waiters all friendly. I ordered for chicken kabob and they were succulent and garnished with chopped ginger etc. Nihari was cooked beautifully and the star of the night dum biryani with mutton was fantastic. Getting the cheque and payment took over 15 mins as the restaurant got busy at 11.30pm on a Monday night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dum Pukht at the ITC Maurya in New Delhi has transformed into that orbit quite some time back. Even then, every dining experience there is a celebration of the taste, style and the ambience.The restaurant serves its biryanis and slow-cooked kebabs in its magnificent silver and blue dining room, adorned with crystal chandeliers, making it among the best restaurants in Delhi for couples. While here, do not forget to order Dum Pukht biryani, shahi nihari, dudiya kabab and Kakori kabab.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food! Guchhi Sabz-e-zar is the absolute winner for vegetarians. Highly recommend it.
Value for money for vegetarians is not that great. It should be a much better experience for meat eaters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Dinner ever had till date. Very warm and courteous Team. You may get good food anywhere but not true "Indian Hospitality". My wife was not able to walk, the team arranged wheelchair assistance for her thorough back kitchen exit. Must try Murg Chandi Kebab and Gucchi Biryani. Made my evening. Kudos to Team and Management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a stellar experience. Great food paired with great service gets a 5 star in my books. I’ve never had chicken breast so soft and tender and more importantly delicious. The staff makes you feel extremely welcomed especially our server Shivsagar and the manager on duty. The chef also took time to check up on us and had a very intriguing conversation with him. This is the place if you’re looking for exquisite Indian food and exceptional customer service. Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Following the covid regulations properly, operating with 50% capacity and proper measures. Great hospitality, had to wait for a while as they are operating 50% but it was worth it. Ordered Dal makhni which was great, mirchi baingan ka salan which I found okayish, biryani was pretty good. Also for the starters I tried the dal shorba, which was amazing. It was rich with flavours. Also had the bana strawberry colada, which was decent. We tried multiple breads, warki parantha, khamiri roti, nan. Would definitely recommend warki parantha and khamiri roti.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently visited this restaurant in March 2022. I chose this place since I was staying in the same hotel, and saw rave reviews and ratings on Zomato. I must say, the food was not up to the mark.
We ordered Dudiya kabab, Dum Pukht Kakori and Dum Pukht Mutton Biryani. The Dudiya kabab was really good. Its preparation was unique, but not just for the sake of it. It even tasted amazing and it is a must-try for every vegetarian here.
Coming to the non-vegetarian dishes, the Kakori kababs were good. The mutton mince and the delicate structure was spot on, although the taste has some scope for improvement. The spices could have been a little stronger to enhance the taste of mutton. The biggest letdown (and the reason for such a low rating) was the signature dish - The Dumpukht Biryani. The presentation was good, it was served in a handi. The taste, however, was pathetic. In the name of Awadhi biryani, they have completely eradicated the role of spices. Being from Lucknow and a Biryani lover, I am aware of how an Awadhi Biryani tastes like. The preparation can vary, but the basic taste cannot be such miles apart. The mind-boggling thing was the rice were high on salt! I was eating a Rs. 2000 biryani, with salty rice! The mutton was well cooked, but again, just like the overall biryani, it was bland. It just had no taste. I had just one evening to make my friend from US experience biryani in India, and what a blunder I did by choosing this place.
The staff was extremely courteous and professional. They were really pro-active and I did not have to make any efforts to find them whenever needed.
Being an ITC Luxury restaurant, there is a certain expectation from the place. Being a specialty restaurant, one really expects them to be good, if not excellent, in the cuisine they boast of. In the world of focus on presentation, giving exquisite explanations of dishes and instagrammable food, the last thing one should compromise is taste and preparation.
