There is no announcement of trains done, unless there is a change in schedule.
This station is very important for people availing Belghoria Expressway

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and tidy railway station maintained by railway officers. No smoking zone inside the station. Tea & coffee is available along with rest room. Both sides of the station has market place for shoppers to shop various household needs and clothes. This station is inbetween DUMDUM Cantonment and BIRATI station. Many sweet shop is present outside the Durganagar railway station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We will get all train to go Bongaon, Hasnabad line . If you are in galloping tarin, then no train are stopped this Durganagar Platfrom. So don't take galloping train to come durganaar. There are main tickets counter on platform no. 1. And sub ticket counter are situated outside of platform no. 2.
Those are going sealdah or majerhat theye will takes tickets from platform no.2

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an average station. Gallopings don't stop here. But it plays an important role for the dwellers of that place. Before they have to come to birati, to take trains. Now they can avail from there. Also Durganagar Sporting Club premises know as DSC in just 3 minutes away from the station gate. Except the gallopings other local trains stop here normally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting this place since my childhood! Durganagar railway station is a small railway station in North 24 parganas. Its code is DGNR. It serves Durganagar town.
The station consists of two platforms.
The platform Number one has got the ticket counter, and the trains from this platform goes the side of bangaon and hasnabad side.
The platform Number 2 has the sanitation, and trains from this platform goes to Sealdah dumdum side.
The platform is not fully sheltered. It has many facilities including water and sanitation. It lacks many facilities too, like there is no announcement system you don't know what train is comming. Before you actually see the board of the train.
Many food shopes are there on the platform, and out side of the platform. It's located nearby a market so ATM s are also available.
One can get to the station, by bangaon, gobordanga, Habra, Barasat, Madhyamgram local. Galloping trains don't give a Stop here.
