★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, especially during winter morning. It's lovely to roam about there. Some sitting arrangements have been made. A nice park is also being made . It's a quite nice place for a short trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durgapur barrage is located on the way to Bankura road from Durgapur. It's a good picnic spot , tourist destination , and good site for amateur and bird photographers. It consist of the Damodar river with lock gates. You can take boat tour too. It's crowded during the picnic session and during rainy season the water level rises high creating waterlogged in few villages near durgapur barrage. The sunset and sunrise are golden time with nice view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place specially for viewing sunset or sunrise. It is a very peaceful place, also a great spot for picnic or photoshoot. You can enjoy in a boat ride here or can swim or play. It's really a great place at almost free of cost.
