★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at JBS Haldane Ave, Opp Science City, Tangra, Kolkata, West Bengal 700046, the Eden Pavilion at ITC Sonar is a 24 hour fine dining restaurant having a wide spread of Indian as well as international cuisines in their menu. They serve buffet as well as á la carte to their customers. They have ITC Signature mornings breakfast which focuses on healthy breakfast options such as eggs Benedict made with extra virgin olive oil hollandaise and cold pressed juices called ‘pavilion pure’ made with various combinations of fresh fruits and vegetables. The á la carte menu is very extensive and the desserts are drool-worthy and a must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is most popular of the ITC Sonar Restaurants. This also serves morning breakfast to the guests. A multi cuisine buffet restaurant has both Indian and continental options. Staff is helpful and nice. Food is also good. Lot of sitting space. Ample newspaper are supplied.

I was here in Jan 2018 with my office colleagues. Very conveniently located near Science City, this place is easy to get to. Parking is spacious. The ambience is peaceful and serene as one would expect. The seating arrangement can be improved. Guessing by the seating arrangement, I think couples come here more than large families. The are so many tables for two, but very less long tables for, say, 6-8 people. So we also had to sit is pairs despite 20 of us there.
It is a buffet restaurant, but if you compare it with the likes of Barbeque Nation or Flame and Grill, this place loses points on the variety and taste of food. The starters are minimalistic, no variety. The main course is just average. The dessert was awesome. There was so many varieties of dessert, both Indian and continental dessert. I liked the caramel pudding very much.
Overall a nice place to bring your family or colleagues and a marvelous place to bring a date. You won't have too many options in the dining section, but the overall experience is nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful breakfast! Try the chef’s special preparations, made to order. The black currant French toast, eggs benedict in a bowl, everything was amazingly curated. The regular buffet was good to go, yes a bit too much oil in a few dishes, such as poha! Tea options could have been better too.
