★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun On Streets offers really interesting guided walks around Kolkata through which one can learn about its history. The 2.5 hour walk we took (with a group of 40 students) took us through the green bylanes of colonial Kolkata on a quiet morning, where our excellent guide, Navpreet, brought alive stories from the past in a vivid and engaging way for our group. If you're visiting Kolkata, I'd definitely recommend doing a walk or two with Fun On Streets... the city reveals itself to you in a beautiful way, that won't happen if you engage with it purely as a tourist.
