★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place in the whole world. The Butter Chicken is a dish I’ve been having since I was 4 years old. Over 20 years the flavour has remained constant yet fresh. It’s a timeless place where standards are sky high but always met.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old, elegant and unpretentious dining place, almost opposite Churchgate Station. Good food - Western menu, some Indian, too - non-veg and veg. Liquor served. Courteous, efficient service. Valet parking. Large, two-level air-conditioned indoor accommodation, and a sit-out that's great for a casual cup of their famous cona coffee and snacks. Attached cake-shop sells variety of breads and yummy confectionery: try their cheese straws and Florida Cake (made to order).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magnificent experience to visit this historic restaurant. It's truly an embodiment of elegance. Just as you enter it's interior are starkly European and it's absolutely beautiful inside. Negatives are it's a bit congested as pretty much everything in mumbai, and a bit pricy. The staff are extremely cordial. It's a must visit if you are in Mumbai!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for some desserts. They have a lot of options and even baked goods here. I tried the strawberry cream cake, the dutch truffle and the kitkat cake. The strawberry was the best. They have a nice cafe section which is open and well ventilated. The prices are not heavy on your pockets.

The soup was very bland. The fish and chips were very average. Harabhara kebab was tasteless. The only saving grace was the veg makhanwala.
The fudge and the brownie from the bakery were good.
