?Location: Just Opposite to South City Mall
Two things wanna highlight about Ginkgo are great Pan Asian food and very much affordable pocket pinch.
Also in Ginkgo,you can get not only variety of Pan Asian dishes but also some unique dishes to other places in Kolkata.
From their menu, had tried-
Pokchoy Wrapped Chicken- Rs.97,
Darjeeling Style Chicken Steam Momo- Rs.107,
Cheese, Spinach, Water Chestnut Dimsums(Black one)- Rs.116,
Fish Dumpling with red hot chilli oil(pink one)- Rs.113,
CFC Fried Chicken Bao- Rs.137,
Ginkgo Style Chilli Chicken with Scallion- Rs.157,
Spicy Lemon Basil Noodles(Chicken)- Rs.117,

Pokchoy Wrapped Chicken is not only droolsome by its look,but a must try dish from Ginkgo. Chicken slices wrapped with Pokchoy leaves and then sautéed in a gravy rich with garlic- awesome.
Darjeeling Style Chicken Steam Momo is our regular steam momo but more soft and larger than usual size.
Cheese, Spinach, Water Chestnut Dimsums are black ones in photo,even if you are not a veg lover- you still should try it, soft juicy and tasteful; also try to have this with their black bean sauce to enhance the flavours.
Fish Dumpling with red hot chilli oil is another showstopper, pink Dumplings with soft fish filling in it and then dipping it in red hot chilli oil- taste at its best.
CFC Fried Chicken Bao, where the patty was not at all dry and the bao is fully loaded with bao, mayonnaise and fresh lettuce.
Ginkgo Style Chilli Chicken with Scallion is perfect for munching specially when you are waiting for your main course to arrive. Here Chicken was tossed in a sauce with full of bell peppers, onions and spring onions.
Spicy Lemon Basil Noodles is different from regular noodles, thin noodles with chicken and veggies and a beautiful aroma of lemon- all the flavours are complementing each other perfectly.
So if you want to have Asian food that too in a cozy place at real good pocket pinch then make Ginkgo your usual hang out place just like me.

Ginkgo is a place where we can spend our time with our Family and friends in just very very pocket friendly budget. Well, they are serving best Pan-Asian dishes ever with super duper mouthwatering tastes. The beautiful color combination of dimsum come from all natural extracts with the hot chilli oil and even with the sweet peanut sauce. In a word a small place but Unlimited Happiness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small restaurant (seats 10-12 max) located 2-3 mins from South City Mall, Ginkgo was an amazing find. We tried out 4 starter items and they were all very delicious. The Fish Dumpling in Chili Oil is a must have.
The only item which deserved criticism was their "Mint Ginger lemonade" for which they use Sprite as the base and not actually lemonade.
Very very reasonably priced. We had lunch for two for a little more than 700 bucks.

The food is exceptional here.

The prices are extremely budget friendly. They have a seating capacity of 16. Service is quick and taste is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asian and American food gone pocket friendly at Gingko Restaurant, right opposite to South City Mall.
Imagine spending a long enjoyable day at South City and suddenly, you are cash strapped and cannot have a proper dinner. Now imagine a place that serves up some really innovative flavours and yet has a pocket pinch of ₹300 for 2.
With comfortable seating for around 15 people, the ambience resembles an Asian getaway place with the flute being played to give a serene feeling. The entire place has a calm, soothing vibe, with a huge Buddha mural on one wall.
Coming to the food that was served, the dumplings, momos and dimsums had terrific variations to it. Darjeeling style chicken momo, Cheese-Spinach-Water Chestut dimsums and Fish Dumpling with red hot chilli oil were the variants under which all of them are must tries.
Besides that, there were other crowd favorites like the GFC Fried Chicken Bao, Pok Choy wrapped Chicken and noodles.
A must try affordable place for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard a lot about this place so decided to give it a try. Located near South City mall, this cozy restaurant serves delcious pan asian and american cuisine at an affordable price. Coming to the food we had :
Cheese Spinach & Water Chestnut Dimsum.
Tibetan Style Pork Momo with leeks & celery.
Steamed Crystal Prawn Har Gow and
Street Style Taipo Pork.
All the items tasted extremely delicious though the service was Lil bit slow. If you are looking for a pocket friendly place in this area which serves quality food this place is highly recommended. I'm looking forward to my next visit to this amazing place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a nice little restaurant tucked away in a small street just opposite South city Mall. Its a small cosy place with only four tables, so large groups will have to check with the place before visiting.
The ambience is so so...in line with the pricing...economical and functional.
Coming to the food, its where this place shines. Dumplings are priced at one third the fare of the high end pan asian places, but the quality you get is like 80% of those. One advice is to stick with chicken and avoid the fish item, as they probably use frozen fish.
The service was good.
A must visit for pan asian lovers.

The quick bite restaurant is located along with other cafés and restaurant in Jodhpur Park area just opposite to Silverline Eye Hospital, near South City Mall, Prince Anwar Shah Road. The restaurant is known for Tibetan and American fast food dishes. The food is very tasty and attractive. Tibetan delicacies like Dumplings, momos, Bao is very famous and delicious there. Also American fastfood like Buffalo wings, Fried chicken are available. We have tasted the famous Black colour veg dumplings named Cheese, Spinach and Water Chestnut dumplings, the famous and very tasty Pok Choy wrapped Chicken, Chilli Basil Pork and Gingko Style Chilli Chicken with Scallions.

I will definitely visit again. I have given 4 stars because the quantity was not so sufficient for the beautiful dishes at that price. I will suggest the restaurant owner to improve the quantity of the dishes.
