β β β β β I got two glasses made at GKB. Frames are too expensive but I had a hard time getting one of my choice irrespective of price. Finally I got one that I liked. The other one I bought was just out of need, not a frame of my choice. When they delievered the specs, the one I liked wasn't there and they pushed another similar looking frame. I pointed it out, they were reluctant to admit their mistake, I gave them about a week's time to fix it. They insisted this frame is the one I had chosen. I couldn't specifically recall the one had chosen. Obviously, you don't always learn by heart the model number when you place order for specs. I had to take that one. Later, I saw the frame (temple) isn't even of my size (I was very particular about size while choosing frame)
My first and last business with GKB opticals, Sahidnagar!

β β β β β If you go for only EYE TESTING then they charge you βΉ200. But the opthalmologist is a very good person. The price is a bit more but the behaviour is excellent

Bhubaneswar not worth a visit EVEN if you do not mind higher cost for the
Same brands. You may try
Himalayan cuttack road n many other far better price n service.

β β β β β Tried a frame and after wearing it decided to buy it with my power. When i received the new specs from them it didn't fit me correctly as they had bent the temples extremely. It was their fault but I went there to make adjustments. To my surprise their attitude was totally different and cold as I was not there to buy anything. When you go there to buy something they behave and act very nice. But if something is wrong with your specs and you go to them they treat you as if you are stranger.

β β β β β Cheap product with ultra high price. Every your spectacles need repair, have to be sent to Kolkata. 20 days minimum time for repair. Worst quality and service.

β β β β β A big brand with a big name but service too slow. Salesman are not that great, they dont even know how much time or how many days it will take to get repaired. Way of talking is like they are streetsiders. Never ever go...Charging huge amount for glasses and worst part is thise frames and glass are not lasting. Please beware.
