★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The organiser of our recent trip was not well informed about things at Andaman.
There was lack of communication when it came to keeping us informed about timings of ferries, scuba diving related matters etc.
The ferry timings were not customised to the timings insisted. We realised that there were cruises available for the timings we specifically had requested for. And the scuba diving was booked by us itself as the local team failed to help us out in it.
Also, the local support were not flexible and were looking at money more than the experience of travellers. We do understand that money is an important aspect, but not at the cost of jeopardising the experience of travellers.
We had also sought addition support for creating special decorations for an event, which turned out to be not at all what we’d instructed for, as we were made to go to another beach view restaurant. Whereas, we understood and had insights from the manager of the resort we stayed at stating that they could have arranged the same at no cost.
I recommend the organisers to have better understanding about the places and make better research, which can be done using better local support.
Apart from the above shortcomings, we did have a good time as the place was beautiful and we did get to visit most of the places.
Trust the organisers take this seriously and work towards improving the same.
