★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience.. they themselves don’t have clarity on documents needed from NRIs.. they keep coming with new list and senseless requirements every day feels like running in vicious circle. I am facing this since i applied for loan linked to Godrej woodland project.
Go with Bank loans, much easier - don’t fall for their low interest rate because the endless and vague requirements will cost your mental peace more than what you gain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Bad and frustrating experience with Godrej Housing finance team. Be careful folks when you receive sales call from them. The will make big promises initially like lower interest rate and bigger amount of funding and when you start believing them and take certain decision, they will come back saying either funding can not be done or lower rate is not possible, and in turn will try to sell you more expensive loan products, considering you have already lost time and energy and in a need of funding. Be careful and stay safe of these folks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I appreciate all the efforts that was taken by Sagar thakur in explaining the process and constant followups. He tried his best to ensure sanction letter is received on time but there is problem with higher management/credit dept. teams. Till date I have not received my sanction despite multiple followups. I understand technical problems and server issues, but is it possible that it lasts upto 1 week? Server issues sometimes just for 1 hour brings down the company, but here I was given this reason for almost 2-3 days- this is hard to believe. Godrej is wellknown company and for home financing it is kind of new - you guys should put extra efforts to satisfy the customers but I have not seen any single attempt. Forget about extra efforts they seems to be not putting the efforts that they should ideally be putting.
DONT EVEN OPT FOR GODREJ. WORST EXPERIENCE.

Thanks for wasting my time. It would have been closed easily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't waste your time for applying home loan at GHFL, they message for the 5 day sanction process but not complete in time... don't look for the attractive words mentioned in GHFL website. Very bad experience with GHFL..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is like dealing with a government office from the license raj.
1) they sent an email that disbursement had happened but we later discovered from the builder that it was not issued.
2) they are less concerned about their own EMIs. Even after demonstrating adequate balance to pay off their EMIs for over a year, they were more bothered about us clearing our other dues with entities not even related to them.
Even after clearing the credit card (which again, has nothing to do with them) and showing them all evidence of payments, including a bank stamped statement showing zero dues. They kept on insisting for more evidence. Including password protected documents.
For every silly thing they ask for multiple documents that indicate to the same evidence. It's like they have a manual somewhere and they stick to it with no application of mind.
It has been the most harrassing experience with this lot. Would not recommend to anyone.
